The French University in Armenia is a leading inter-state institution of higher education in Armenia, the result of cooperation between France and Armenia. UFAR issues two state diplomas։ an Armenian diploma and a French/European diploma. Its academic partners are the University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and the University of Toulouse 3 Paul Sabatier. UFAR currently has more than 2000 students, around ten doctoral students, and more than 2900 alumni. The employment rate of French University's graduates is its proof of success: the poll of graduates of the 2022 class reveals that only 1% of them are now seeking employment.
